WASHINGTON: The coronavirus pandemic has driven the worldwide economy into a downturn that will require gigantic financing to help creating countries, IMF boss Kristalina Georgieva said on Friday.
"Unmistakably we have entered a downturn" that will be more regrettable than in 2009 after the worldwide budgetary emergency, she said in an online press instructions.
With the overall monetary "unexpected stop," Georgieva said the reserve's gauge "for the general money related requirements of developing markets is $2.5 trillion."
